The Team

Currently, Pollok Dental Care have 2 permanent dental surgeons at the practice along with support staff:

Dental Surgeons

Lorna MacInnes B.D.S (Hons) MFDS RCPS(Glas)

Lorna has been with the practice since 2013. She graduated with Honours from Glasgow University in 2011, and then achieved her MFDS post graduate qualification. Lorna most enjoys treating nervous patients using intravenous sedation. Lorna also offers facial aesthetics including dermal fillers and wrinkle relaxing injections.

Outside work, Lorna is keen gym go-er and often competes at CrossFit competitions at home and abroad.

Zoe Mullaney B.D.S MJDF RCS(Eng)

Zoe graduated from Glasgow in 2015. Since then she has worked in general practice, Dundee dental hospital and Dundee communitry service gaining further experience in oral surgery, restorative and paediatric dentistry.

In May 2017, she achieved her MJDF post graduate qualification. Zoe also offers treatment with intravenous sedation for anxious patients.

When she is not working, she enjoys taking her springer spaniel Fergie for walks and skiing whenever possible.

Support Staff

Our dentists are assisted in the smooth running of the practice by Hilda and Christine welcoming you at the reception desk while able nurses Lynsey and Zoe will help to put you at ease in the surgeries. Linda is our practice manager under whose guidance things run like clockwork.

Zoe Whitelaw

Zoe has been a dental nurse for 12 years and is also trained to assist during dental sedation. She most enjoys assisting in the treatment of nervous patients and young children.

In her spare time, Zoe loves travelling, going to the gym and spending time with friends and family

Lynsey Larke

Lynsey has recently joined the team at Pollok Dental Care and has settled in well.

She enjoys assisting the dentists to provide a high standard of care for patients.

Lynsey has previously worked in a variety of sectors but has found dental nursing to be the career for her.

Christine Smart

Christine has worked on reception for 8 years. She always gives a warm welcome to patients as they come through the door.

Christine is approachable and efficient and will try her best to help patients with their needs.

She likes to work out at the local gym and socialise with friends.
